Position Summary:
The Account Executive for Cypress Communications (A Broadvox Company) is responsible for selling a variety of products to prospective customers located within their assigned territory including our full featured hosted VoIP service, SIP Trunking, Data, Voice, and TDM services. Targeted accounts can be in “lit buildings” or be prospects that have multiple, geographically dispersed service locations elsewhere in the region. Account Executive will also have responsibility for some account management, and generating incremental revenue growth as a result of those customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Uncover, qualify and sell enough opportunities through targeted acquisition within the assigned territory and targeted list of prospects to meet or exceed a monthly direct sales target resulting in an individual customer base
- Determine strategy and action plan to grow new customer base in assigned territory
- Maintain relationships with real estate and the property management community
- Assist with service renewal efforts
- Lead upsell and MAC sales activity associated with all acquired customers
- Craft and coordinate the Cypress response to formal requests for proposals within the assigned territory
- Act as interface to Marketing in regards to all customer requests for support of non-standard service applications within the assigned territory
- Document all sales activity using appropriate tools
- Provide detailed marketplace feedback to management for product and market support planning purposes
Qualifications:
- Minimum years of experience: Account Executive – 2, VoIP or software sales experience preferred
- VOIP or advanced data networking technical or sales-training certifications considered a plus
- Demonstrated ability to sell or support the sale of advanced voice, data or IP technology solutions
- Understand Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models
- 4-year college degree preferred
- Must have expertise using Microsoft Office products, Outlook mail experience
- Experience with CRM tools
- Able to work independently as well as within a team
- Ability to travel within region
- Excellent time-management skills
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
