But we’ve taken continuity one step further with our C4 IP failover options. Designed as an add–on to C4 IP, the failover options add another layer of continuity and protection for your company—ensuring that your employees can connect, communicate, collaborate and continue® working productively in the face of any situation.

With C4 IP Failover, your voice traffic will be automatically redirected to a third–party Internet or private data network in the event of any network disruption. Likewise, should your third–party Internet or private data access be disrupted, your data communications redirect to the Cypress network.

And since every company’s communications configuration is unique, Cypress offers three versions of C4 IP Failover:

  • VoIP Failover: VoIP traffic is automatically redirected to your existing public or private connection.
  • VoIP + Public Data Failover: Bi–directional failover enables VoIP traffic to be redirected to a third–party connection or traffic from the third–party connection to be redirected to Cypress’ network in the event of a service disruption.
  • VoIP + Private Data Failover: Bi–directional failover enables VoIP traffic to be redirected to your private network or traffic from your private network to be redirected over the Cypress network in the event of a service disruption.
